...Because everyone is doing it. Actually ~CaitieAteTapee did a very detailed review here [link] and I was with her pretty much the entire time, but some random things from my own experience:

Thursday:
- Caitie came to my dorm with 432091243 bags before we headed out so I made her compress it into 3 bags LOL.
- It turned out all the bag stuffing we had to do wasn't necessary because amtrak doesn't enforce their rules.
-The Detroit amtrak station was so ghetto, they were using giant plastic tray spoons as their restroom passes. I should have taken a picture, but yes... GIANT SPOONS.
-We got to the hotel after a long an arduous journey where I unpacked and almost thought I forgot to pack my Frau wig before I realized I stuffed it into my Pluto wig.  Everyone in our 07 ghost group would have been missing a wig loool, as the other two were going to buy theirs at the dealer's room.

Friday:
-I was Grimmjow, and my NIPPLES WERE FREEZING. Why did I think it was a good idea to wear this cosplay to Chicago? XD
-I was outside for a good majority of the day (in 40-30 degree weather), and as a result, ended up missing the bleach gathering at 5:30 (the main reason I was Grimmjow that day) because I could no longer handle the frostbite on my chest.
-I wished I had more bleach friends
-Finished the day at IHOP where I had the unhealthiest meal I had in a while because I was cutting down for Grimmjow: country fried steak   Unfortunately my bread didn't want me to eat it because it flew like 2 tables away when I picked it up and lifted it to my mouth (I accidentally threw it ), or I was really tired. Well, I hate carbs anyway so fuck you, bread. Also food kept getting stuck in the teeth of my mask lmao.

Saturday:
-No one recognized our 07 ghost cosplays (*Cult-Clueless as Teito with ~CaitieAteTapee as Mikage) BUT we had the derpiest photo shoot full of pelvic thrusting/chest-touching haha.
-When I was walking by myself around the convention center no one had any idea who I was, but the ones who wanted a photo though I was from final fantasy. LOL
-Pluto surprisingly got lots of love for being a closet cosplay , and I got my wig ruffled/petted a lot. Fortunately Pluto has messy hair that doesn't need much styling or I would have bitten them.
-I photobombed a lot of people, or attempted to, by raising one leg over them and "marking my territory". I might not have made it into most of the photos but I guess the people who noticed what I was doing got a good laugh.
-Fire alarm, then pizzza. Lots of Pizza. And random horseplay which made up for the convention pretty much being homestuck central, but I don't think I'm going back to this one.
